Simple Ways to Lose Weight

Kaloka! Yes, the challenge to lose weight is harder than I thought! But if there’s a will, there’s a way!

I was looking for simple ways to lose weight online and here’s a found out from various sources:

  • Drink lots of water – ditch all colored drinks especially soda and those energy-giving drinks which has 100 or more calories on each serving. Water, on the other hand, has zero carbs and calories, little to no sodium, which makes it the best slim-down drink. It also helps in flushing down excess water weight and jump-starts your metabolism.
  • Ban pasta and white bread off your diet. Cut out all-white grain products including spaghetti {my favorite food on earth!), sandwiches and white rice and you will  slim down instantly. These foods does cause bloating especially around the belly area..
  • Do a daily 30-minute exercise. A good workout that would get your heart rate up will burn off those calories.  You can consider these three: cardio kickboxing, boot-camp workouts or spinning. Half an hour of each exercise burns off 200-300 calories. It tones up your arms, legs and core too!
  • Drink coffee and hour before workout. Coffee will energize your work out. This is an exception to the all-water drink rule.
  • Do the Woman-on-Top Sex nightly. Wow, 144 calories in 30 minutes. Amazing. This I’ve got to try.
  • Perform 36 push-ups and lunges 3x per week. Tone up those muscles! In my case, chasing my kids. playing ar drone in the plaza, and doing household chores will do the trick.

This is doable. All I need is a little push from my good cooks at home.
