Bret Michaels, a 47-year old singer and Poison frontman is in critical condition at an undisclosed Los Angeles-are hospital after suffering a brain hemorrhage late Thursday.

The actor suffered from excruciating headache before he was rushed to the hospital. Doctors discovered a massive subarachnoid hemorrhage or bleeding at the base of his brain stem. Until now, the bandanna-sporting rocker is still in intensive care.

“We will have no additional information until further testing is done,” his rep says.

Earlier, Michaels had an emergency appendectomy in San Antonio and stayed in the hospital a few days before he moved to the rehab clinic specializing in treating diabetes.

Let’s all hope that Bret recovers immediately so his Orlando vacations pushes through.
